Reflecting the supernal light
Of July’s sun,
And beveled with gray cliffs
At edges that trail to eternity,
You whisk me away
With the fierce winds
Of your high altitude smile
That in the thin air
Of our romance
Plummets to earth
And crashes into the dust
Of lost days,
